New Here?

Welcome

Thank you for taking a closer look at Frenchtown Presbyterian Church. We are seeking to be a living reflection of God’s love in what we do and in the way that we welcome people on Sunday morning and throughout the week. This church on Fourth Street gathers each Sunday for worship, learning and fellowship and then remains open for a number of community groups meeting from early morning to late evening. We house a food pantry and are looking for new ways to improve the health and well-being of our community. We engage in local home repair projects and then travel in the summer to other places where we can lend a helping hand. We invite you to come and see what God is leading us all to do as disciples of Jesus Christ!

What to Expect

Whenever you come here, you can expect to receive a warm welcome. The main entrance to our facility is through the large glass Rotunda. This is also the handicapped accessible entrance. Our Sunday worship services differ depending on time. All of our services are informal and most people are dressed casually. Our 8:00 service is intimate and brief. Each week we sing a hymn, hear scripture and a message, and take communion together. This service is followed by coffee and bagels in the Fellowship Hall. At our 10:00 service, families begin worship together, and after about 20 minutes the children go to their Kids Communities while their parents continue in worship. At this service you will find all classical elements of worship including candles, choir, and organ. During this service we have nursery care for children too young for our Kids Communities. Communion is served at this service on the first Sunday of the month, and on this Sunday the children remain in worship with their families so that all can partake of Communion. Children are welcome at all worship services, and are welcome to stay with their parents. If you need to take your child out during the service, the service is broadcast on televisions in the Rotunda and Fellowship Hall.Directions

New Member Class

You do not have to be a member to worship and grow with us. We encourage you to consider church membership when you are ready to deepen your life in Christ and get more involved in the life of this congregation. We are a mixture of life-long Presbyterians, people coming from other Christian churches and new believers. In each case, an orientation class is offered for helping you unite with this church. If you are interested in joining, speak to the Pastor or send your contact information to office@FrenchtownPres.org.

Tell Us About You
We would love to hear more about you. Sometimes in the busyness of Sunday morning we don’t get enough time for in-depth conversation. You may have questions about the church after your first visit or you may wonder how some of your interests and needs might connect with our life. You may have a great idea that you saw happening at another church. Let us know how we can contact you so that the conversation can continue. Send us your contact info to office@FrenchtownPres.org.
