Pastor William Myers
Hello all, my name is William Myers, but you can call me Will. Starting in September, I’ll be beginning my work as your pastor and I wanted to tell you a bit about myself. I was born the second child to Margaret and Bill Myers in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. My mother’s background is in Christian Education and my father is a Presbyterian Minister. My sister is three year’s older than me and now lives in Seattle and works as a librarian. About a year after I was born, the whole family moved to Iowa, where we stayed for five years before moving to Monmouth, Illinois. My family spent twelve years in Monmouth from which I graduated in 2013.
After high school I moved to Colorado for my first year of college while my parents moved to Michigan, where they reside today. After my freshman year I transferred to Wartburg College in Waverly, Iowa and graduated in 2017 with a degree in Peace and Justice Studies.
I attended and graduated from Princeton Theological Seminary. During my three years in seminary, I focused on developing skills for ministerial outreach directed towards rural communities. I was lucky to be able to intern at the Reformed Church of Highland Park for a summer where I learned how to create sustainable community ministries. After my internship, I continued attending the RCHP and was blessed to meet my wife, Nimmi, after church one Sunday. I then spent a year interning at Forest Grove Presbyterian Church in Pennsylvania where I learned the ins and outs of church life, the specifics of worship, and was able to better understand how to develop ministry alongside a congregation.
Nimmi and I dated through seminary, were engaged last August, and were married June 2020.

A little about Josh……
Josh graduated with honors in piano performance from Westminster Choir College. In addition to playing for the chorale and Sotto Voce, and teaching a music theory course for “VOICES”, a skilled group of semi-professional singers dedicated to performing choral masterworks and premieres by American composers, he is adjunct professor of piano at Mercer County Community College and teaches piano privately.
We are so glad to have Josh with us and to share his remarkable gift with us!
Lea lives in Kingwood Township with her husband Jack.. They have two boys, Johnny and Colby. Lea and her family love the outdoors and often go camping on the weekends. Attending all kinds of sporting events with her kids takes up a lot of Lea’s spare time.
